What a lovely room in a historic building near campus. Our room was spacious and overlooked Swift Park. A large magnolia tree was outside one of our windows. It was a great place to rest between a visit to Ponysaurus Brewing and a flight out of RDU! We’ll be back!

Taberna has become my Durham home away from home. Its easy, convenient and consistent. They have many rooms and are readily available at a reasonable rate. Great central location for walking around and coffee/groceries/restaurants.
The rooms have a mismatched upcycled vibe. If you’re expecting high end, modern finishings, this isnt it. Its a quirky stay for sure. The linens and bathroom are always clean.
You can hear lots of niose from the street and the rooms are quite bright dark at night so I travel with an eye mask and ear plugs.
Overall, i continue to book this place because it offers me exactly what i need with a no fuss experience. Thanks Taberna

I stayed here for one night and it was a pretty seamless experience. Checking in and out was easy. I was able to walk to the city center in the evening to have dinner. The place was nicely furnished and clean.

This was my second stay at Taberna. Each time I needed to extend my stay by 1 day and the hosts were always accommodating. I love the location for its walk-ability and convenience. Thanks so much!

This is a perfect spot if you're looking for a comfortable place to rest while exploring the Durham area. We had no trouble walking to the Durham Bulls stadium and enjoyed the surrounding neighborhood. Check-in was seamless thanks to the clear instructions, and the room was absolutely wonderful: spotless, cozy, and inviting.

I love to taberna, it’s always so clean and will organize everything is simple. Your own private room feels like you’re in your own apartment. I definitely recommend any time every time.❤️

It’s a peaceful yet hidden spot(which I actually thought was nice) and the instructions that were given made it easy to find. Parking was a little tight but there was extra parking around the building which is nice just incase! The room looked just like the pictures and overall was a lovely peaceful and quiet stay.

We are native to RTP and were looking for a place for a staycation for my husband's birthday. We love this place; the decor was very charming, and the surrounding area was peaceful and private. We love it!

I stay here every time I come to Durham. The room and bedding were very clean, the air conditioning worked well, and the water pressure in the shower was strong. I like the hotel style hall and individual rooms that all have a small fridge and coffee station.

Such a sweet space, so convenient to his campus in downtown Durham. As I a returned for the first time since graduating in 1999, it was so special to be able to rest my head here on Buchanan in a place attached to where some of today’s blue Devils call home away from home. It was that for me this trip. Thank you.
